YES. The system is designed to work on very low levels of pool salt or mineral salts such as magnesium and others. The fact is the amount of salts required in a Naked Pool is so small you will not notice the difference between a quality bag of pool salt compared to mineral salts. The difference will be in your wallet and not your pool.
If you decide to use minerals we recommend adding 20-30% more minerals than salt.
Unfortunately you are not able to add Pool Pro MineralX or CAS Mineralfresh minerals to a Naked Pool as they contain traces of copper which can result in too much copper being present in the water.
