The interface cable enables the Naked System to control the pump operation outside of the programmed timer settings. It does this by:
-
Activating the pump when the heat pump requires heating.
-
Deactivating the pump when heating is no longer needed.
Connection Requirements
-
The heater end of the interface cable must be connected to a potential-free (voltage-free) contact.
Refer to the heater manufacturer's documentation to identify the correct connection point.
Important Note on Electrical Compatibility
-
If the heater’s control circuit operates at 240V AC, a suitable external relay may be required.
-
This is because the interface cable is designed for potential-free switching only, and directly connecting it to a live circuit may damage the Naked System or pose safety risks.
-
If it’s unclear whether the circuit is potential-free, consult the heater manufacturer for confirmation.
Important: The installation of any relay or high-voltage components must be carried out by a licensed electrician, in accordance with local electrical regulations.
