The Naked System has 2 timers because the sanitisation time (TIMER 1) is traditionally less than a typical chlorine/mineral pool. To ensure the water in the pool is turned over for adequate circulation and filtration a second timer (TIMER 2) operates.
- The out of the box setup for a Naked Freshwater Pool automatically sets up a DUAL CYCLE timer.
- All timers are automatically set up and based on the volume of water entered when starting the system.
Example #1 - 50,000L Pool:
TIMER 1 would run for 5 hours 08:00 to 13:00 and TIMER 2 would run for 2 hours 14:00-16:00
Example #2 - 80,000L Pool:
TIMER 1 would run for 8 hours 06:00 to 14:00 and TIMER 2 would run for 2 hours 15:00-17:00
- TIMER 1 is the CRITICAL timer. Whilst TIMER 1 is running your pool is being oxidised and sanitised which is keeping the pool water nice and clear. This is also the time that a small amount of chlorine is being produced.
- TIMER 2 is for filtration and circulation. Please note during this time the OXI Cell will be OFF and OXI OUT will be 0% and come on for the last hour. Note: Newer units will have the Oxi Cell operating for the entire period of T1 and T2.
The Naked Freshwater Pool System can be customised to your pool and adjusting the timers is easy.
