The amount of time required for your timers to run is determined by the volume of water entered in your Naked Pool during setup, however it is important to take note that each pool is individual in its size, shape, setup and surroundings.
Taking this into consideration along with weather and external influences, it is important to note that the run times set up automatically in the system are a guide only and can be customised to suit your pool.
- Your system will automatically default to run a DUAL CYCLE timer.
- As a guide we recommend TIMER 1 to run for 1 hour per 10,000L.
- TIMER 2 will start one hour after TIMER 1 has completed its cycle and run for 2-4 hours depending on your pool size.
Example #1 - 50,000L Pool:
TIMER 1 would run for 5 hours 08:00 to 13:00 and TIMER 2 would run for 2 hours 14:00-16:00
Example #2 - 80,000L Pool:
TIMER 1 would run for 8 hours 06:00 to 14:00 and TIMER 2 would run for 2 hours 15:00-17:00
NOTE: Variable Speed Pumps
These are designed to run for longer at a lower speed. Often a pool will be set up according to a single speed pump so it is important to increase Timer 2 for adequate pool circulation when using variable speed pumps at low speeds.
It is our opinion that circulation and filtration is as equally important as sanitising the pool and if you are not turning over the body of water adequately your pool will struggle with clarity.
