Firstly, did you check your copper level using the copper test kit provided ? If not, then please do so remembering to read the sample in the shade and not direct sunlight and make certain your pH is within range (7.2 - 7.6).
High pH will mask an accurate copper reading.
Low or no copper residual in the pool can happen and one of the most common reasons is dilution - maybe you have experienced a lot of rain or been back washing the pool a lot recently.
Copper levels can also decrease due to having phosphates present in the pool...the copper residual in the water can be eaten up if present, so please get a water analysis done by your local pool shop and if required treat the pool with phosphate remover.
If it's determined that your copper is in fact low, you can use the ION Boost feature seen in the videos below. Please note this feature is only available for all units installed Post Oct 2019.
For all units installed post Oct 2019, to adjust the copper level simply go to Calculators within the Naked Pools App, enter the pool size and your current copper level and adjust the ION SET to 100% for the amount of days indicated.
During the BOOST time check levels every few days to ensure levels stay within the recommended range (0.2-0.5ppm). Use the reminder feature to receive a text message once the BOOST has completed and reduce the ION SET back to 20%.
NOTE: ION BOOST will only operate for a set period of time each day based on the pool size and resets every 24 hours, so depending on the pool size this may take a number of days. If an external controller is installed and ION BOOST is activated the same rule applies.
